My adventure begins in a tiny village in the northwest of Germany. I know what you’re thinking – how on earth did I end up capturing elopements in the Big Apple then? Before I turned 30 the city had stolen my heart, after I arrived for an internship in Soho. In the beginning, I worked in architecture by day and studied photography by night. Now, I blend the best of both to create unrivalled backdrops for my couples eloping in New York City. Emotion, atmosphere, authenticity…that is what I care about. And I have been doing this for over 15 years now.

What if the person who married you, on your most memorable day, in the best city in the world was a mix of your best friend, a shoulder to lean on, a kick-ass professional, and on top of that... plain hilarious? Sounds pretty great, right? Well, congratulations, you found your dream officiant! I was born in in Kansas but grew up in Portland, Oregon. New York City became home when I studied for my Bachelor in Musical Theatre. I have been marrying happy couples for the last 10 years now.

My name is Lucy and not only am I the mastermind behind this entire operation (not really ;)), I am also the only real New Yorker in this bunch.
When I am not in school, you will usually find me spending time with my friends, somewhere between musical theater rehearsals and taking photos (clearly influenced by both of my parents). I still love anything creative, especially when it involves storytelling.
And yes…just like the rest of my family, I am completely obsessed with Christmas and everything Disney.

Dexter was a rock and one of the founding members of Team Reinking. In March of 2022, after a long, wonderful, fulfilled life, Dexter crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 16. He was our favorite hello and our hardest goodbye.
We are Walter and Pippa, the official chaos coordinators of Team Reinking.
I, Walter, joined the family in 2023 (yes, Dexter sent me), and together with my sister Pippa, a rescue and the newest addition to the team, we make sure things stay interesting around here.
We specialize in sock destruction, snack negotiations, and making sure no one takes life too seriously.
This is not just about getting married in New York City.
It is about how that day feels.
Because let’s be honest…New York can feel like a lot at first.
The options, the logistics, the “where do we even start?”
That is where we come in.
We help you cut through all of that and turn it into something simple, personal, and actually enjoyable.
A day that feels like you, not like something you are supposed to do.
We have guided more than 1,200 couples through this process, and every single one has done it a little differently.Because every couple brings their own story, their own priorities, and their own idea of what this day should be.

A British born, die-hard New Yorker, by the way of Australia, London & San Francisco. Growing up around a grandma who worked in hair & makeup, she had the bug at an early age. So, after a decade in business, she took the leap and set up her own company in New York, specializing in bridal. Fast forward another 10 years and she has never looked back!

Margie is a native of Brazil, who fell hard for the charm of NYC. It was love at first sight for her! She's joined the club of 'honorary New Yorkers", having lived here for 22 years. She loves being a Make-up Artist & Hairstylist and being a part of such special and happy day in the lives of all couples she works with.

Nic is of Greek parents but was born in Santa Cruz, California. He lived for 10 years in Florida where he studied at "The University of Florida". Nic made New York City his home when he moved here in 1982. The bouquets he and his team creates have to be seen to be believed.

Barbara was born in Argentina, but spent her early childhood growing up in Texas, making her bilingual by the age of one. Pretty impressive, right? She moved to New York City over six years ago, falling in love with every part of the Big Apple. Barbara feels honored to be a part of every couple’s special day as an officiant. She loves to share part of her Spanish roots.

07 - We celebrate Christmas 365 days a year. No joke.
08- We live in New York City but our hearts belongs to the beaches of the Baltic Sea in Germany.

Today, exactly 20 years ago, I married my best friend. And I had no idea what the next 20 years would bring.
I love Jackie more today than ever. Which says a lot, because I already liked her quite a bit before. She is my best friend, my business partner, my favorite person to do absolutely nothing with, and somehow the only human alive who can handle my grumpy moods. No really, that alone should win her an award or something.
When we met, I was still an architect and Jackie was a musical theater actor. Neither of us could have imagined that 20 years later we would be running our own wedding business together, celebrating love for a living, and helping over 1,200 couples create their own love stories.
We literally spend all our time together. Business, travel, life...and I still wake up every day wanting more of it. That is either true love or early signs of insanity. Probably both.
And to think it all started when I walked down the stairs at Bethesda Terrace and saw her sitting by the fountain…in those ugly pink pants. (Yes, they were that bad. Whole nother story. Ask me about it sometime.)
Twenty years later, we have built this wild, beautiful, unpredictable life together. There have been plot twists, bad haircuts, flight delays, lost luggage, and a whole lot of laughter. And I would not trade a single second of it.
Here is to the next 20 years of chaos, love, and whatever else we get ourselves into. ❤️

Sarah and Felix flew in from Germany, eloped in Central Park, and timed it perfectly with peak cherry blossoms. We started at the Ladies Pavilion with Jackie doing her thing, then wandered through the park like it was all theirs. Bethesda Terrace gave us drama, flowers gave us softness, and New York did what New York does best. Pure elopement gold.

From LIC to the Connecticut coast. We go way back with Artemis from our former life in Long Island City, so it meant the world when she asked us to be part of her and Mike’s commitment ceremony. Their celebration took us out of New York and onto a beautiful beach in Connecticut. Just the right place for a day filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of joy. 🥰
